Duties: Design, develop, and support applications. Analyze business requirements and build business workflows and user interfaces. Program applications using functional and object-oriented programming paradigms. Perform unit and user acceptance testing in order to ensure developed applications meet technical and functional requirements. Analyze and resolve performance issues identified during testing phase. Integrate newly-developed applications with existing applications and systems. Perform automation test execution, scripting, integration, and reporting. Assist with peer code reviews. Write technical documentation and provide ongoing support for applications. Identify ways to improve design and development processes.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Software/Application Developer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree plus three (3) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with developing applications using the following technology stack: Java, J2EE, Scala, Akka, and Springboot.
